🍂 Can we enjoy autumn a little longer before we jump into Christmas? 🎄

I know, Christmas Market-related contents are taking over our feeds already. And yes, I did visit the Christmas Museum in Szentendre, so I'm not exactly innocent either. 😂

But autumn isn't over yet! And Szentendre, with its romantic cobblestone streets, colourful houses and cosy cafés, is perfect for a little day trip from Budapest. ❤️

So here's your reminder to enjoy a little autumn magic before the Christmas spirit takes over completely. 🍁

Have you visited Szentendre yet?

👉 My Szentendre travel guide is waiting for you via the link in my bio.

🍂 September recap 📸

September, you were busy. 😄

A little Budapest, a little history, a few animals, some riverside walks, plenty of photos... and probably far too many pictures sitting on my phone waiting to be shared.

This month took me to:

🦁 Budapest Zoo & Biodome
🏰 Vajdahunyad Castle
🌊 Római-part
🎵 House of Music
🍽️ Time Out Market
…and a few other places along the way.

So before September completely disappears into the rear-view mirror, here’s a little collection of my favourite moments from the month. ❤️

Some were planned trips, some were spontaneous, and some were simply places I happened to find myself. But that’s probably my favourite way to explore anyway.

Which photo is your favourite? 👇

And now... hello October. 🍁

🌍✈️ Happy World Tourism Day! I’ve always thought

🌍✈️ Happy World Tourism Day!

I’ve always thought that travelling is about much more than seeing new places.

It’s about getting a little lost in a city you don’t know.
Trying food you can’t pronounce.
Having conversations with people whose language you don’t speak.
Discovering a tiny street you won’t find in any guidebook.
And sometimes simply sitting somewhere beautiful and thinking, “I could stay here a little longer.” ❤️

Travel has a funny way of changing how we see the world. And sometimes, without even realizing it, it changes how we see our own little corner of it, too.

So today, on World Tourism Day, I have a question for you:

🌍 What place has made you want to travel more?

Maybe it’s somewhere you’ve already visited and can’t stop thinking about. Maybe it’s a place that has been sitting on your bucket list for years.

Or maybe you’re perfectly happy exploring your own city. Because, let's be honest, sometimes we forget to be tourists where we live. 😉

Happy travelling, wherever your next adventure takes you! ❤️

✨ 10 things you probably didn’t know about me Bec

✨ 10 things you probably didn’t know about me

Because apparently, introducing yourself normally is just too boring. 😄

1. My name is Szilvi.
But many people call me Kriszti aka Christie. Maybe I should just make Christie my second name. 😂

2. I’m a perfectionist and a massive self-doubter.
I’m also a former sceptic turned optimist. I know I’m not perfect, but I’m limited edition. 😉

3. I broke my collarbone as a kid...
...while jumping on top of my bed. Apparently, I was already an extreme sports enthusiast. Just with questionable equipment. 😂

4. I’ve hated people stepping on my feet since kindergarten.
Back then, kids wore sandals with socks, and nothing annoyed me more than someone stepping on my foot and getting my perfectly clean socks dirty. Yes, I was that kid. 😄

5. I can’t run more than 100 metres without feeling like I’m about to die.
But put on some good music and I can dance for 5 hours straight. So technically, I’m cardio-resistant, not lazy. 💃

6. Before I discovered the Latin world, I thought I knew how to party.
Turns out... I knew nothing. Absolutely nothing. 😂

7. I speak Spanglish, Hunglish and Cubañol.
Almost fluently. With an accent. Or several, depending on the day. 😜

8. I don’t like working on Wednesdays.
I’ve justified this by the fact that I was born on a Wednesday. Sounds perfectly logical to me. 😎

9. I’m slightly obsessed with red food.
Watermelon, strawberries, tomato-based dishes... if it’s red, I’m probably going to eat it. 🍉🍓🍅

10. I spent 20 years looking for my Prince Charming...
...only to find my Cuban husband when I was 40. Turns out, he was worth the wait. ❤️🇨🇺

Now it’s your turn!

Tell me one completely random fun fact about yourself in the comments. I’m reading! 👇😄

📍 Római-part, Budapest 🇭🇺 Some places don't need

📍 Római-part, Budapest 🇭🇺

Some places don't need a long list of attractions. They just have a vibe. ❤️

Római-part is one of those places where locals come to slow down, enjoy the Danube, admire the charming old boathouses, and, of course, eat something delicious. In my case... a gluten and lactose-free lángos. Yes, they exist, and yes, it was absolutely worth it.

This little riverside escape reminds you that Budapest isn't only about famous landmarks. Sometimes the best memories come from a peaceful walk, great food, and watching the world go by.

There are more riverside views (and a little history) than I could fit into one Instagram post. 😊 You'll find the full guide through the link in my bio.

Have you been to Római-part?
