What Is Día de los Muertos?

Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican tradition that honours loved ones who have died while celebrating their memories and the continuing bonds between the living and the dead. Known for its colourful decorations, flowers, symbolic imagery and family gatherings, it is a tradition centred on remembrance rather than fear.

The Fröccsterasz event takes inspiration from this vibrant atmosphere, pairing the theme with live Latin music and a lively night out in Budapest.
